Trump threatens to close the 'whole border' with Mexico

President Trump on Thursday threatened to close off the southern border, telling reporters that he would "close entry into the country" if immigration gets "uncontrollable."

"If we find that it gets to a level where we're going to lose control or people are going to start getting hurt, we will close entry into the country for a period of time until we can get it under control," he said.

Trump added that he meant the "whole border," though he appeared to be referring only to the southern border.

"We're either going to have a border or we're not," he said, adding that Mexico wouldn't "be able to sell their cars" into the U.S.

7. Hell, why stop there?

Just close all land border crossings, put pillboxes along all coastlines, like Hitler did in France, but with updated technology. Then close all international airports except for people leaving, and if they are US citizens, confiscate their passports when they leave. US planes and crews may not depart US air space, and crews of foreign airlines flying to the USA may not enter the country or leave transit areas.

If we are going to go crazy, might as well go all the way.

There are a LOT of American companies with operations in Mexico. If they can't bring their products into the country, they will go ape shit.

I think we'd have a replay of the Business Plot (where some corrupt businessmen attempted to hire General Smedley Butler to overthrow FDR) except this time it would probably be successful.
