Trump, back to the reader, rips away at the (still distinguishable) Hitler 1938 cover to reveal his own with the words "for better or worse" giving clear emphasis to why Time made the selection.

Let him frame that at Mar-a-Lago.

Can you believe it's only been a little over nine months since the shooting? Those kids have finally put gun crazy politicians on the ropes. Every one of the NRA's endorsed congress critters got pink-slipped in this election.

(2) Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as the face of a new generation taking charge in America.

From wiki....

In November 2017, Meredith Corporation announced its acquisition of Time, Inc., backed by Koch Equity Development.[18] In March 2018, only six weeks after the closure of the sale, Meredith announced that it would explore the sale of Time and sister magazines Fortune, Money, Sports Illustrated, since they did not align with the company's lifestyle brands.[19]

In September 2018, Meredith announced that it would re-sell Time to Marc Benioff and his wife Lynne for $190 million, which was completed on October 31, 2018. Although Benioff is the chairman and co-CEO of Salesforce.com, Time will remain separate from the company, and Benioff will not be involved in its daily operations

So the koch brothers did own it briefly, but sold it again soon after.......

If your goal is to make people's heads explode than that would be the choice. However, I think it will be either women, grassroots activists, or the American people. Maybe it will be Nancy Pelosi, or the Democratic Party.

I think a good case could be made for both Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic Party. By helping to bring about a Democratic Party win in the House of Representatives, Pelosi may have had the biggest impact on the world. Now there will be a check on Donald Trump. That will have a major impact on the United States and the world.

mainly because she represents the vast diversity of Democratic candidates who won election.

My god, look who won House seats for the Repugs, I think there was 1 or 2 women and that was it.

It would make a nice statement. But, you have to remember, Hitler was the person of the year in 1938. So there is precedent for a despot to be named person of the year.
