Chief Justice Rebukes Teflon Don Trump!

Chief Justice Roberts Rebukes Trump. It’s a Warning Shot About Mueller.

Trump once again impugned the legitimacy of a judge who ruled against him. Chief Justice Roberts drew a line in the sand.

(according to today's article in the Daily Beast, Trump stated)
Every case that gets filed in the Ninth Circuit we get beaten and then we end up having to go to the Supreme Court like the travel ban that we won. The Ninth Circuit we’re going to have to look at that. Because every case, no matter where it is, they file is practically, I mean practically, for all intents and purposes, they file it in what’s called the Ninth Circuit. This was an Obama judge. And I’ll tell you what, it’s not going to happen like this anymore.

Chief Justice Roberts, in an extremely rare statement, replied, “We do not have Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges. What we have is an extraordinary group of dedicated judges doing their level best to do equal right to those appearing before them. That independent judiciary is something we should all be thankful for.”

While many have treated the entire give-and-take as some kind of political spat, in fact it is a confrontation of historic proportions about the very nature of American democracy—and a taste of what is to come.

4. I've referred to him that way, but it's rather depressing.

Any predecessor would have been long gone by now, though it isn't so much that nothing sticks to Trump. It's that he has a cult following and complicit Republican majority in both chambers of Congress. Until January, that is.

I can only hope that Mueller comes forward with so much damning information that Trump is forced to resign.

Hiring hackers to steal an election and blaming Russia, having rivals, including a lesbian artist who painted a nude picture of him beaten up, firing FBI Directors, bribing or intimidating women and other witnesses in civil and criminal legal proceedings. As for a "cult following": aside from getting evangelicals to vote for a divorced man that married a stripper w/ her own collection of nude photos, can you list any more crimes tRump has gotten away with?

He's made unsecure calls to world leaders in violation of federal records law. He is violating the Flores Settlement and Sabraw's order.

We know all of this, but Republicans won't do a damn thing about it. The 'both sides' media doesn't help.
