Trump has made it so that no one has to respect our courts, our laws, or our values.

He has set the precedent for any government official to disobey laws, precedent, and tradition. GOP is no longer the party of law and order but the party of disorder and corruption. IF SCOTUS doesn't reign him in, the only other viable remedy is unthinkable. The House has already lost it equality with the Executive because Trump will not abide by anything a Democratic House will invoke. We are in some very troubling times.

Trump has attempted those things. He has not succeeded.

It's clear from the recent election that Trump doesn't have the country behind him. The newly elected Democratic-controlled House will be opposed to him. Chief Justice Roberts has stood up for the courts against Trump's continual whining and expressions of disrespect for judges. Even many Republicans/Conservatives are opposed to Trump.

I'll agree that we live in troubling times. I was born in the late 1950s and my whole life has been filled with troubling times: Cuban Missile Crisis, Kennedy's assassination, Viet Nam, civil rights unrest, Martin Luther King's assassination, Nixon, the explosion of drugs in our culture, Iran hostages, Reagan, Bush I, Iraq I, Bush II, 9/11, Afghanistan, Iraq II, 2008 financial collapse, etc., etc.

Have some optimism. We're a stronger nation than you may think.

He'll undermine them next , eliminating any power they have too. That's why some real American hero's that aren't corrupt need to step up and denounce their party of trump switching over to the Democrats , and taking power away from Mitch McConnell to stop this from continuing any longer.
