Has anyone thought of what you will do if Romney wins?

With voter suppression and so much money going to the republican campaigns perhaps Obama will lose.

Would you think of leaving the country? Has anyone looked into what it takes to go to another country and apply for immigration to it?

What country would you go to? ...

Or would you stay? and what would you do....be quiet and try not to be noticed or be a voice that objects to the R & R administration?

...to elect more Democrats locally and nationally. I'd also start paying attention to anyone that may be a good contender in '16.

In the meantime, voter suppression will only be effective if we don't get the message out NOW. Find those Democrats that aren't registered and/or don't have photo IDs and help them get registered. The only thing money can buy is ad time and more money. But, I continue to donate to our President's campaign and toss a few bucks to any other Democrat that needs help and encourage others to do whatever they can.

In other words, nothing will ever get me to throw in the towel. If, in the very remote chance, Romney wins, I'll just have to fight harder next time.

Says ID must be no less than 12 months old

I moved back here from South Carolina in November of 2011 but I was able to vote in the Republican Primaries with that ID
I voted that way for a very good reason I want to see if being registered Republican will get me a pass even though my license says issued 11/25/2011

And I definitely wouldn't leave the country. A Romney win, as unlikely as it may be, would empower me to fight harder to get Dems elected in '14 and '16.

Of course, after Romney/Ryan fucks up the country in four years, worse than what Dumbya/Cheney did in eight, 2016 should be a landslide for the Dems.

He won't win if we do the work. That's a fact.

We have to work harder then they do, sure, but it's worth the outcome.

I'm honestly just glad to have so much ammunition to work with this year. It makes it totally doable.

elected and Al Gore should have been our President. This time I hope Americans protest this loudly, clearly and never let go. There is a hope that if the Democrats take back Congress, he won't be able to do much harm.

I would probably come here and assail the people I would blame, both the teabaggers, and the real people that would help him, the "my vote does not matter" types, or "I am too disappointed, I am waiting for third party" types. I would write here with the sort of acid fire hate that only comes when I feel like I am an inch from hell, and I do not care.

Then, I would focus on survival, as the social security my family needs would be cut. I would talk to my family about moving to Mexico or the Dominican Republic, as Costa Rica is for rich yuppies. If we could not move, then I would simply try to surivive.

I would heap scorn at the people who talk "revolution" because all revolutions do is replace one king with another. The real work of democracy is not in big glamorous drama, but small things, unglamorous things, which is where Americans failed. I would also watch to see when, not if, nukes started flying.

Seriously, the GOP is falling deeper and deeper into bafoonery. Best way to combat that is by kicking in a few $, voting, and repeated heavy doses of ridicule.
