Now, that Democrats have a majority in the U.S. House of Representatives, not only Democrats but also EVERY OTHER NATION needs to take action to combat climate change. The other option includes no more war, discrimination, financial problems, disease, or hate, because there will be no more humans on Earth. Currently, we are living during the largest extinction event ever documented by scientists.

BTW, the Amazon River is considered the "lungs of planet Earth" because so many species of trees and other plants, which consume carbon monoxide and replace it with oxygen, existed there, before the foliage was cut down and burned for truly temporary farm land.

Opinion: You dont need a scientist to know whats causing the sixth mass extinction
A biological annihilation of wildlife in recent decades means a sixth mass extinction in Earths history is under way and is more severe than previously feared, according to research.
Scientists analysed both common and rare species and found billions of regional or local populations have been lost. They blame human overpopulation and overconsumption for the crisis and warn that it threatens the survival of human civilisation, with just a short window of time in which to act.
The study, published in the peer-reviewed journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, eschews the normally sober tone of scientific papers and calls the massive loss of wildlife a biological annihilation that represents a frightening assault on the foundations of human civilisation.
