Mueller, for his part, not only volunteered for the Marines, he spent a year waiting for an injured knee to heal so he could serve. And he has said ­little about his time in Vietnam over the years. When he was leading the FBI through the catastrophe of 9/11 and its aftermath, he would brush off the crushing stress, saying, “I’m getting a lot more sleep now than I ever did in Vietnam.” One of the only other times his staff at the FBI ever heard him mention his Marine service was on a flight home from an official international trip. They were watching We Were Soldiers, a 2002 film starring Mel Gibson about some of the early battles in Vietnam. Mueller glanced at the screen and observed, “Pretty accurate.”

6. Honestly, I doubt that Cadet Bone Spurs,

even actually had bone spurs. His daddy found a doctor who wrote a letter claiming he had bone spurs.

Those "bone spurs" weren't bad enough to keep him from playing baseball and tennis. Maybe he had a blister or a callous, maybe.

Did Cadet Bone Spurs ever have a physical by the military? Where did he have it taken? I doubt he ever actually went for a military physical. Let me tell you something, during the Vietnam war, the military let a lot of physical issues slide. There was an exam done in what we called the gross out room, where they checked your private parts. At one station they measured the lengths of your legs. I will never forget the kid next to me when they gave out his way off readings then said pass. He almost cried, he thought he would be exempt because his one leg was way longer than the other, he didn't realize he needed a letter from Trump's doctor.

It's a long article, but worthwhile. Every republican on the planet should read it. Then they should shut their lying yaps as they go on lying, demeaning Mueller's patriotism and integrity. That is among the more disgusting things republicans have done in their betrayal of America and American values.
