right at home in the DU. They will be taking up a collection for the immigrants and figuring out a way to shelter them in the church basement. I still have the same bias you do toward most churches, but this one practices what they preach. Many of the older members were involved with Cesar Chavez and the lettuce boycott back in the day. We have quite a few LGBTQ members and we support their causes in word and deed. It’s a unique place. I’m not religious but I sure do enjoy this community.

From what I can tell from their pronouncements, they follow the "Old Testament," with its capricious and angry father god. The New Testament, with the gentle loving Jesus, they must not even read. Quiet, respectful neighbors. Clean. Great food all around and very affordable. Sure. They want to move in next door? No problem.
