if you don't agree to plea deal, that means you are not cooperating. not the other way around. if he refuses the plea deal that means he is likely going to face trial and will not cooperate with investigators.

Corsi is also probably clinically insane!

Nonetheless, he wouldn't enter into a plea agreement without professional legal representation, right? His lawyer knows what the client has to do, I would think.

Absent some sort of machine connected to his head which reliably indicates whether Corsi is lying, his cooperation is worthless since he is fundamentally detached from objective reality.

I would LOVE to defend a client with Corsi as a witness for the other side.

I don't understand your comment. Any physical evidence in his possession, including communications, has already been produced. If he has not turned that stuff over, then there is no deal to be made.

The only value of making a deal is testimonial evidence.

He "knows" Barack Obama's birth certificate is fake: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Where%27s_the_Birth_Certificate%3F

He "knows" that Barack Obama is secretly gay:

https://www.vice.com/sv/article/5gavex/this-man-has-proof-that-obama-is-gay

All the usual smear campaign tactics have been employed, as you'd expect, but a man named Jerome R. Corsi (above) has a new one to unleash: that Obama is a closeted homosexual.

He "knows" a lot of things.

This is one guy who I would like to see do jail time for all of the slime he has thrown.

I don't believe anything that this guy says. For certain Mueller isn't going to leak anything.

Throw the book at this creep we don't need to give him immunity to bring down Trump.

Oh, and that he simply "forgot" something and it wasn't perjury.

I think the legal defense fund is his plan for retirement $. Really. He'll collect all that money, wait Mueller out, maybe eventually take a couple-weeks in jail, keep the money.

then I would suspect an indictment is in short order?

Now the question becomes, how many other charges could he be facing as a result of this decision?

I would venture to guess it's more than just 1 count of perjury.

He's such a liar his testimony would be useless. A plea deal just wraps him up as another guilty plea and may help corroborate some Wikileak stuff, but probably is worth very little.

Corsi is playing hardball against mueller for his very life. This is where your lawyer is supposed to step in and say “they have you dead to rights on multiple counts. Take the deal. “

He is playing up the whole “perjury trap” defense to excuse not pleading on that one count. Yeah good luck with that. Mueller will bring down an avalanche on you now!

and Corsi is trying to martyr himself by saying he is going to fight the charges brought down from the "illegally appointed special counsel" (or some other such nonsense)?

Of course - if my theory is correct, that means we would soon see his GoFundMe drive start in t-minus 3...2...1...
