I think it's a 40-seat net gain, which takes into account the two losses (which IIRC were in rural Minnesota). So 42 flips, +40. If this holds up.

The OP may be referring to today's update, which be due about now. Cox was 477 vote behind but has been making up chunks of vote for days and the uncounted votes are in counties that favor Cox.
