That's what we should be asking people. Have they forgotten that Trump promised that Mexico was going to pay for this wall? The media seems to have forgotten this, never hear it mentioned.

A Bill should be put forth that appropriates 2.5 billion IF Mexico puts up matching 2.5 billion because Trump said he was going to make Mexico pay for the wall.

If Trump vetoes a spending package because it doesn't contain funds for his expensive pet project, he's pretty much saying that nothing else matters to him. That's his own doing. I think most Americans don't want the wall, so they will side with the law makers that say no to Trump on this and Trump will look foolish and uncaring if we end up with a government shut down. It will be just another thing to make him look bad.
