Now, everything in Trumpworld has the possibility of being staged (e.g. the "firings" of advisors who remained steadfast advocates for Trump in the media), so I'll take that with a grain of salt.

But Manafort did replace Lewandowski.

I'm sure they're both dirty but they may have been running in independently dirty circles.
