In all of the talk about our southern border

I realize asylum seekers are different however the airwaves are virtually silent about those who help create the draw for those seeking employment here...the illegal employer.

In our red state, the anti-migrant bullhorns are always blaring. But when it come down to it, the employers are largely free to proceed with impunity.

I live in an area where meat packing jobs were once one of the top paying blue collar Jos around.

IIRC somewhere in the 70s the meat packing companies started hiring immigrant labor for pennies on the dollar to bust the unions. Not one corporation or CEO was ever charged with so much as jay walking.
