No foreign terrorist attacks under Obama

Remember how the rethugs used to brag about how there hadn't been "another" foreign terrorist attack on US soil since 9/11? I know a local right-wing talk show host who used to always open his show with "--- days without a foreign terrorist attack" while Bush was in office.

However, there have been absolutely NO foreign terrorist attacks on US soil since Obama took office. ZERO. NOT ONE.

Yet somehow, the rethug mantra is that Obama can't keep us safe. Kinda blows the air out of that sail, doesn't it?

I hated it when Bush cheered on the lack of terrorist attacks.

Why should Obama do the same?

The US has been on high alert since 9/11. It's going to be next to impossible to pull off another planes operation. The best they can hope for is stuff like the El Al ticket counter and Times Square, i.e. small potatoes.

It's got nothing to do with Obama or Bush. The national security apparatus is far larger than both. And much longer-lasting.
