That was the split in the Mississippi exit poll from early November.

I have never seen anything like that. I have never seen a state report above 50% conservatives and I've never seen anything close to a 40% gap between conservatives and liberals.

It is the reason I didn't pay any attention to this race tonight.

Granted, the early November exit poll was only 1300 respondents and a 4-way race. I'm not confident it is fully representative of Mississippi in a normal race. That state is seldom if ever exit polled. My estimate has always been 48-49% conservatives in Mississippi, based on actual results compared to national margins.

I hope they exit poll tonight, but I doubt it will happen.
