It Really Does Look Ugly

I saw the video of Melania Trump's White House decorations and red Christmas trees the day after the video was published. My complaint then was that the decorations looked more like a runway show than Christmas decorations. Today, I saw a news story that showed a close up of the red Christmas trees and now I think the Christmas trees are ugly. They do not look like actual trees. I know they are fake trees, but even fake trees can look like trees.

Maybe the trees look better in person, but seeing close up pictures of the trees make them look ugly. I really do not like those red Christmas trees. She could have done a much better job. She should have just stuck with decorating traditional Christmas trees.

Just like she calls in a ritzy designer to decide what she wears, a cosmetics expert to decide how her makeup should be.

I can see those trees on the cover of Vogue.

That's what it's about. Sort of looks like a runway at a fashion show, too. It's what the super wealthy do.

She has a traditional tree elsewhere.

Even though the White House absurdly claims she designed the decorations herself, one of the news stories showed the prepared sketches. That was all fashioned by professionals designers. At best, she signed off on the proposal.

she doesn't care. Why would she give a fuck about White House decorations some well connected artsy designer was hired to concoct? She's already counting down the days until she can get out of there and go back to her gilded penthouse and vaucous life of lunches, shopping, and plastic surgery she won't have to disguise as a kidney problem. The saddest character in this dysfunctional family continues to be Barron, who always looks worried and stressed. Imagine what it's like for him to have a narcissistic slimeball for a father and a mother who can't bring herself to give two fucks about anything. Looking at those red trees must reinforce the notion that he's living in a real life horror show.
