Best birthday present ever.
I was hoping Mr. Mueller would remember me but I can wait for a late present.

I am old enough to remember Richard Nixon and Watergate.

I don't see Trump leaving voluntarily. He'll have to be blackmailed or shown paperwork that has him cornered with strong possibility of prison and financial ruin.

Or they'll have to make a deal to keep Jr. out of prison in return for Trump leaving.

He won't just leave because Mueller has a deathly report on him showing strong evidence of crimes. That won't be enough. He'll just say it's fake evidence and the report is a witch hunt.

It's pretty much up to the Congressional Republicans. They are going to have to navigate this treacherous passage...for their own re-election and then for the Republican Party.

I've wondered whether he'd fake illness...he does look pretty ghastly right now. And all that greasy fast food with the pressure is twice as bad on the system.

Perhaps Putin is frustrated that Dirty Donny can't continue to strike off items in the "To Do" list Putin gave him initially. Add to that the fact that Russians have invested a great deal of money into properties and enterprises that are increasingly jeopardized as Puppet Prez keeps the internationally covered drama hazmat level on high with his self-incriminating behavior and growing unpopularity. Dems take over the House in January and have signaled they will be very busy investigating and exposing what the Republicans have been trying to cover up.
Maybe that is what Pence is for. He has remained off-side in the shadows except for when he is needed to cast a vote. He has deliberately sidestepped the swirling sideshow that has surrounded the Trump crime family and the rotating officials and appointees as much as possible. Pence would have to earn his own international reputation--good or bad. Trump is a joke.
Perhaps Putin will direct Dirty Donny to resign ASAP. Sure Pence has serious problems of his own, but they have to begin to come to light which would give Putin more time and chance while the case begins to build against Pence publicly. He might appear sedate and sane enough to strike a few more items off the "To Do" list before he is indicted or impeached or voted out of office. He might reinvigorate the shakiness of the Republican Senate for a short time.
Trump Tower Moscow is not ever going to happen now. The Trump Crime family will no longer be useful for money laundering as criminal charges and lawsuits against them stack up.
All guesses, but I can't see how Putin wins with his puppet boy any longer.
