Why the Allen Weisselberg immunity deal may be the biggest news of this bananas week

People can lie and get into semantics about "collusion" etc but as Manafort found out, financial transactions and tax returns are usually better documented with 3rd party evidence and more black and white.

Might have led to Trump's Chicago property tax lawyer getting raided today ...

I can't imagine Trump playing by the rules when it comes to taxes.
I suspect they'll also corroborate

Trump's oldest son said a decade ago that a lot of the family's assets came from Russia

"In terms of high-end product influx into the US, Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets," Donald Trump Jr. said at a New York real-estate conference that year. "Say, in Dubai, and certainly with our project in SoHo, and anywhere in New York. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia."

'Well, we don’t rely on American banks. We have all the funding we need out of Russia.' Eric Trump

I think they're going to find Trump was beholden to Russia financially long before the Moscow deal.
