1. What - specifically - kind of danger ?

I think he did the only thing he could do under the circumstances. I was stationed in Carolina back in the day of Jesse Helms. Farr is an unapologetic racist scumbag. He crafted some of THE most oppressive voter intimidation and marginalization laws in existence. He does not deserve to even be considered for such a posting on the bench. Anywhere.

Tim Scott could not have possibly overlooked that.
