Reason GOP latched on to Evangelical leaders starts with letter F
One of the reasons I've stopped being very hard, dismissive, or completely condescending to our Right Wing brothers and sisters who continue their allegiance to Trump is that I understand their pathology. But beyond that, there is another driving force, and the Republicans seized on that to accomplish their destructive policies using the Evangelical Leaders.
