Saw that just now online. Sorry if it's a repost.

I remember big PILES of the stuff on the rack, just waiting to be dried.
A HERETIC I AM
(24,365 posts)She would can it, and when you needed some, you opened the can and held a glass upside down above it, so the Hydrogen would flow up into the glass, combine with the Oxygen in the air and Voila! Instant water.

(15,751 posts)So reassuring for me to know, that as I slept, DUers have been up all night, working hard at, . . . 'raking' their brains, to solve the problems of our planet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks,

(25,816 posts)Not funny stuff--my son-in-law's parents live in Palmer, Alaska, about 30
north of the epicenter. When I heard about the quake (here on DU of course),
I called them. No answer. So I texted and was told that they were OK but the
house was a mess. She said everything in house was on the floor, no power and
no road to Anchorage. Power is back up now and a road in and out is open.
Lots of clean up to do.

(118,278 posts)I don't know. I hear that's what people say. But it's simple. Alaskans who are tired of snow should get memberships at Mar-a-Lago. That's what I think. Why not? We don't have snow there. We didn't put it in a snowy place."
