at your first opportunity. If you choose to wait, you May be rejected for some conditions. If you decide to change companies, they can be rejected for some conditions as well. Prices are rising, of course, every year.

(12,607 posts)2. Everyone is entitled to enroll in regular Medicare
at 65. Unfortunately the pool is being muddied by privately run Medicare Advantage advertising pretending its Medicare and sowing confusion, which will ultimately end in a privately run voucher system for all. Hopefully, not til after Im dead.

Whats a Medicare Advantage Plan?
You can get your Medicare benefits through Original Medicare, or a Medicare
Advantage Plan (like an HMO or PPO). If you have Original Medicare, the
government pays for Medicare benefits when you get them. Medicare Advantage
Plans, sometimes called Part C or MA Plans, are offered by private companies
approved by Medicare. Medicare pays these companies to cover your Medicare
benefits.

by which I meant advertising on TV , in magazi nes and direct mail. I didn't mean government publications.
