not testify for or against anyone.
When someone encourages another person not to testify against them, it implies, Lie if you have to.

Traitors, meet Mr. Mueller. Love the smell of panic. Love the smell of fear. It's all beautiful. America the Beautiful. Beautiful to those who love our country that is. Maybe not to traitorous mobsters.

Do you remember how we use to say, "he's a man of his word," to mean the guy was an upstanding gentleman?

Well, guess what? In a culture of corruption if means the person can be counted on to lie for you. I see it locally, all the time.

And, encouraging the local business community to make global business relationships has hasten our demise. A big problem in Florida where we depend on tourism. Imagine what could go wrong when a county builds an airport and tries to bring in tourist into their county, hoping to homestead them as well. Imagine what could go wrong.

I know the answer to that question because it is my story.

there's a pretty good chance he doesn't even need Stone's testimony.

So Stone is probably trying to get in line for a pardon anyway, even though he will not have actually flipped on Il Duce Deuce.

even if it changes, as a pathological liar is prone to do, often within a few minutes. Otherwise they will lose their job. If someone else read it, please post the link. It was terrifying and fascinating at the same time.

Thus what has been described as indictments in the hundreds. Still hard to imagine, but logical, it's illegal to lie under oath...and many have and will continue too do so.

... a Perjury Wall around the pee-resident.

They all lie like they breathe, (and somehow don't stop to worry about the consequences if they keep up that pattern under oath*). It may serve to protect Drumpf because the only witnesses that can attest to his crimes all have so little credibility.

*This is the part that puzzles me. Are there really that many pardons and legal defense funds to be given out?

Testifying against you doesn't mean lying. The opposite is true.

According to Trump, Michael Cohen was indicted because he told the truth that there was no collusion. Now, facing stiff jail time for all that truth telling, Cohen is lying about Trump for an easy sentence.

Sad enough that Trump sees such twisted logic, but 30% of the country seems to agree. I think a certain percentage of the US went insane after 9/11 and are yet to fully recover.

"rogue and out of control prosecutor"

Everything I've read on Mueller is that he is anything but out of control - he's thorough and methodical.

He really means "rogue and out of control PRESIDENT"
