Weekend Warriors
3rd December 2018MalloyProducer0 Comments
What a weekend, Truthseekers.
We missed much of the HW Bush coverage because we were visiting with new friends and old at the Malloy Mountain Retreat this weekend. What a grand visit it was! Mike read from the book, we dodged rain showers, pigged out on Bob Kincaids marvelous BBQ, searched for a lost trumpet, played poker, took photos, made a video, ate smores around the campfire, emptied many bottles of wine, speculated about politics, played with the dogs, and kept it lit . . .
Sure hope we can do it again sometime!
Well recap the weekend events on the program tonight, as well as the passing of Bush 41 and the ongoing obstruction of justice by Asshole 45.
Keep it lit!

Good to see the little cat with a problem leg was active and happy. What a sweetie.
Great Monday night kitteh images. Thank you for posting them on the Mike thread, ralps.
Regarding wooden shoes: I read not long ago that Dutch people used to get fungus junk on they's feets, wearing their wooden shoes because there wasn't enough air circulation in there! Who knew? You'd want to have many pairs of wooden shoes so you could change off every day, but it probably would take up too much space having a lot of wooden shoes piled up in one's room.
On edit:
Stepped out to find an article regarding the problems caused by Dutch shoes, found this one, which shoes different problems caused by wooden shoes! Very interesting, but a little sad, for sure:
How Clogs Damaged the Feet of 19th-Century Dutch Farmers
A study of 132 skeletons revealed bone chips associated with a rare condition

This article says wooden shoes absorb moisture. Looks as if I didn't take enough time to read the article well enough. It says that wooden shoes were shoes which poor farmers wore, and that people could make their own shoes, if they knew how, by simply carving wood. Hmmmm.
Why walk on wooden shoes?

I took a wrong turn, somewhere, but at least I learned something: wooden shoes don't help your feet if you kick and stomp a lot of stuff, as pieces of your foot bones get knocked loose! No doubt the temptation is there to kick things out of your road, because the shoes are so tough, you think your feet have become invincible.

Time for the video operator to give s grey kitteh a hand.
Don't know how long it's been since seeing a kitteh that exasperated!
At least he has a good friend who won't run off and leave him alone with that cardboard nightmare.
Thanks, ralps.
