People like Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson are not going to let them forget it, and they are going to be out for blood. That's why it is going to be very important that the next Democratic nominee for president be squeaky clean. No conflicts of interest; No episodes of possible bad judgement.

... is that no matter how "squeaky clean" the next Democratic nominee (and president) is, people like Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson will simply fabricate "facts" against them - like not being a US citizen, or having run a child sex-trafficking ring out of the basement of a DC restaurant.

Sadly, the stupid will always be with us - and they'll always believe the most ludicrous tales that people like Hannity and Carlson can come up with.

The next Democratic nominee has to be able and willing to brush the bullshit off their shoulders the way Obama did - because the bullshit will always be catapulted, the dumb-asses will always swallow it, and the willfully ignorant will invariably vote against their own best interests as a result.
