They were the original Odd Couple during Clinton years in the 90s. You wonder how they keep the peace at home.

9. Yeah, same here. Carville has remained on the political scene but Matalin hasn't.

Wonder if it's her total disgust at trump?

With this current odd couple, the Conways, I think that Kellyanne is a hired gun and always has been, unlike total sychophant Huckabee Sanders.

I'm betting Conway is documenting and taping like crazy too to protect herself—a la the hated Omarosa—with book deal in mind in case she stays out of jail. Her and her husband have to know the admin is on shaky ground so the public yin-yang of their marriage/positions is probably theater and a strategy they've formulated.

Actually I'm surprised she hasn't bailed yet, probably waiting until January, the traditional resignation time frame.

Their relationship was puzzling, but it always seemed as if they knew some inside joke about politics that the rest of us didn't. They disagreed about everything, but never got nasty or personal with one another.

I doubt there is much difference between their (kellyann and georges) political beliefs.

18. G. Conway was just as aggressive against Bill Clinton in the 90's.

This isn't really a case of "the enemy of my enemy should be my friend", y'know. It's just that this time around, he doesn't like Drumpf as much as he didn't like Clinton back in the day. Perhaps an investment or business deal gone south?
Or that he has a thing against people he thinks are mobsters - remember, a lot of GOP true believers swallowed that "Arkansas Project" BS and think the Clintons were involved in cartel drug smuggling back during the Iran/Contra era.
Unlike Drumpf who really has been involved with the Russian mob since the 1980's.
As for him and his spouse, they're just a typical GOP DC insider/power couple. They got married because they operate in the same circles and figured out they could share source materials. Their roles in life are defined by their patrons.

Her current job is to server the Mercer's, his has to be an enabler for the Old Guard. Since the Old Guard is not quite happy with Drumpf, they can alternate their sniping. But it's still all just a game for money for both of them.
