Wisconsin GOP votes to dissolve state rather than letting Democrats have it.

MADISON, WI—Passing the measure along party lines, the GOP-controlled Wisconsin legislature voted Tuesday to dissolve the 30th state admitted to the union rather than let governor-elect Tony Evers and other members of the Democratic Party have it.

“This essential legislation officially dismantles the State of Wisconsin, thereby ensuring Democrats, who won every statewide executive office on the ballot last month, will have no legal authority within its borders,” said Republican Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, explaining that it would be reckless to honor the fair election of Democrats to the state’s executive branch and far preferable for Wisconsin to cease existing and become instead a lawless wasteland of snow and ice.

“While we cherish the past 170 years of statehood, there is simply too much at stake right now to allow the clear will of the people expressed at the polls to ruin Wisconsin by putting Democrats into positions such as governor and attorney general.”

At press time, the Republican-led legislature had passed a follow-up resolution naming outgoing Governor Scott Walker the Eternal God-King of the former state of Wisconsin.

Funny and scary because they’d do it if they thought they could get away with it.

considering how bad and toxic the current R administration is, maybe it's not a bad idea. Dissolve the current government and then put it back together with un-gerrymandered Dems in power. Except for the Emperor Walker part. They can forget that.

for the purpose of getting it to stop broadcasting sports on 5 limbaugh stations and a couple of hannity stations — those stations are essential for everything wisconsin republicans do and will continue to cheer them on, make excuses for them, and support trump.

uni of wisconsin needs to reread its mission statement

even just a discussion about it will cause advertisers who don’t support trump and this crap to desert those stations

wisconsin republicans depend on those stations every election cycle to get elected and reelected. they use them to presell their legislation and stop progressive legislation.

it’s all FREE paid for by advertisers that are often ready to find alternatives if given a push. and it’s all endorsed by the uni of wisconsin — many of those advertisers would bolt if they thought there was a possibility the university could start looking for alternatives

ex gov walker’s emails showed how much he and the cons depended on talk radio. talk radio is their only real advantage.
