Chris Hayes regarding Kamala Harris

Hayes wouldn't predict who the 2020 nominee would be, but he said a bid by Harris — California's former attorney general who said this week that she would decide whether to run in the next month — had been underestimated.

Right now, barring any significant changes or issues, Senator Harris has my support should she choose to throw her hat in the ring.

My only concern right now is that we move past Iowa with a 12+ person field. WeekiWater Dec 2018 #12

Like Clinton or Sanders or Biden or other “old guard” stalwarts of the Party.

That said, i think a Harris/O’Rourke ticket would be interesting. I’m pretty open right now on the VP side.

She checks all the boxes and is a solid Dem, smart, strong debater and doesn’t back down in a fight.

A charismatic woman of color in her 50s, who was the AG of the largest state and has federal government experience--but not so much that she's been under attack for years and years.

In the Me Too and Black Lives Matter era.

Harris all the way. Maybe O'Rourke or Landrieu or Klobuchar as VP.

I will look at all of them and make my choice. Harris would be near the top of my list no matter who enters.

but, several will drop out before Iowa because they're not getting any traction.

A few more will drop out after Iowa & New Hampshire...

I’m all for people jumping in but such a thing can have disastrous results.
