Jeffrey Toobin couldn't explain it. He just said that it's "odd".

or at least proofreading it and making sure they have all their exhibits and other stuff in order. Filing major documents in federal courts is a lot of detail-intensive work and you have to be sure it's all correct. And you use every minute they give you. I remember some frantic late-afternoon runs to the courthouse to get stuff filed before the clerk's office closed for the evening, long before the days of e-filing, because it took all damn day (and days before) to get the thing ready to file.
