1. Time served?!? I sure as hell hope not.

He is fundamentally part of the reason Twitler is currently president. At the very least, he should have to serve 2 years. We will all suffer for the next two years. It will make it a tad more bearable if I know he is suffering more.

2. He's already going to jail for his other crimes.

I'd rather he get little or no time as a signal that it pays to cooperate with Mueller. It helps nullify the value of a promised pardon. Why hold out for a pardon that may never come, when you can cut a deal for no jail time right now?

John Dean was involved in Watergate from beginning to end. He initially got 1 to 4 years, but continued to cooperate. After several conspirators were convicted based on his testimony, his sentence was reduced to only time served, which was 4 months. Cohen's lawyer knows Dean and has spoken to him about this.
