There are forces on the left who are very hostile to popular Democrats like Beto and Kamala Harris.

He can remain relevant by being VP until then.

An argument could be made that we would have been better off with Clinton in 2008 and Obama in 2016.

I think the time is now for us to elect a woman. A woman of color even.

because if you wait, your chance could very well have passed by.

It's like Joe Biden, he is certainly qualified but has run before and 2016 was his final legitimate chance and he let it pass him by.

I'll do it again if the opportunity presents itself!

Not many realize that he's a policy wonk at heart (his charisma is simply cherry on the ice cream)... my favorite kind of wonk.

I am eager to support any ticket that will help bring this about.

This post got me thinking about Biden/O’Rourke. That would be unstoppable, IMO, especially after the Trump Trainwreck.

I’m particularly intrigued by O’Rourke and will likely vote for him in my state’s primary if he runs. At the same time, given the fact the party’s core base are women and people of color, I think the ticket should reflect that. Doesn’t matter what part of the ticket it is, but I see no scenario where running two white males is optimal.

He felt like Beto said what he believed and not what was poll tested. That's what attracted me also... he ran on an unapologetically liberal platform in a red state when other democratic candidates in places like Missouri and Indiana were trying to straddle the fence. Authenticity matters. That may be what he has most in common with Obama and its also what even the kids can feel.
