Trump brags about approval rating hours after Bushs funeral: Working hard, thank you!
https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2018/12/06/trump-brags-about-approval-rating-hours-after-bushs-funeral-working-hard-thank-you/
Hours after listening to heartfelt eulogies from family and friends about George H.W. Bushs integrity and compassion, President Trump reminded the world that things were looking good for him. That is, at least according to his preferred polling outlet.
In a 10:32 p.m. tweet that was short on words but big on font size, the president tweeted a graphic on Wednesday noting that he has a 50 percent approval rating. The source, listed in considerably smaller text in the photo, was Rasmussen Reports, a polling outlet that has often painted a friendlier outlook of Trump and his performance.
The problem? The presidents approval rating is more likely to be somewhere between 39 percent and 43 percent, according to recent polls from several different outlets conducted this month.

The average of all other polls shows his approval ranging from 7 to 11% below 50%.
The last poll Rasmussen released before the midterms predicted the Repubs would get 2-3% more votes than the Dems. The Dems got 9% more, so that poll was off by about 11%, the same as this approval poll.
