The latest copy of Eugene Weekly (alternative paper) is out and on the back page is a full page ad for a local dispensary. $1 grams of bud and $19 ounces. There have been ads on the street for $40 ounces. Too many dispensaries and everyone grew their own in the backyard. Big shakeout coming. Business plan? Later, brah, got a match?

They have a show, Vice, that breaks down Oregon's cannabis problem. Many growers are going out of business as they were told they'd be getting $1500 a pound for their weed, but it hasn't really worked out that way due to too many people growing. Oregon is just now cracking down on the number of licenses it issues. I wish I lived in Oregon...

Here in California, it's VERY regulated and, although fully legal, quite expensive. I imagine there are lots of black market growers still here.

People back East are paying $150-200 for ounces of good stuff and having it illegally mailed to them.

And the USPS Police does not care. They're too busy chasing Fentanyl kilos from China in the mail.
