The thing about Poppy Bush is this: He was the second least horrible rePuke president since Eisenhower. (Poor old Ford probably meant well, but pardoning Nixon is the only thing he'll be remembered for.) GHWB only looks good when compared to the rest of a foul, bad lot.

That is, he didn't create their rotted core. People like him are/become Repukes *because* of the rotted core of the Repuke organization's world view. And Shrub (W.) polished his own evil under ATWATER's wing.

The ADA is a huge thing. Give thanks most days due to my increasing physical challenges.

Also, he was truly beloved by his family (despite their MANY flaws), which is a credit to his underlying personality that became more compromised as he achieved more power at each step to his Presidential goal.
