A bad talk show host representing us at the UN. What could possibly go wrong?

In an alternate history, couldn't you just imagine the grilling Heather Nauert would give Ambassador Zorin during the Cuban Missile Crisis? Mr. Zorin, what is your favorite color? Don't wait for the translation! So much better than that weak-kneed Democrat Adlai Stevenson.....and just some follow-ups, On a scale of great to fantastic, how would you rate president Trump's handling of the situation? (and this doesn't even address the frightening thought of a crisis of that magnitude occurring while Trump is president )

It was alluded early on in the series that we might be looking at a President Hatch. I like the twist at the end where we might actually be looking at a President Pelosi. That Mueller character is genius.

who had been a State Department staffer during the Cuban Missile Crisis. We spent half a semester analyzing the sequence of events and what could have gone wrong. It took careful statesmanship and diplomacy to avoid disaster, including deft handling of the situation by Stevenson at the UN. We might as well appoint a random homeless person with a Magic 8 Ball to handle things. I'm not a religious person but this is enough to make me pray that there aren't any substantial international incidents with Trump in charge.
