Rex Tillerson Just Exposed Trump's Greates Weakness: CNN, Analysis by Chris Cillizza

Analysis by Chris Cillizza, CNN Editor-at-large
Updated 3:12 PM ET, Fri December 7, 2018
_________________________________________________________________________________________
(CNN) — Since being fired by President Donald Trump as secretary of state, Rex Tillerson has kept a very low profile. But on Thursday night in Houston, Tillerson broke that silence in a big way.

Here's how he described the "why" behind the breakdown of his relationship with the President, according to the Houston Chronicle:

"So often, the President would say here's what I want to do and here's how I want to do it and I would have to say to him, Mr. President I understand what you want to do but you can't do it that way. It violates the law."

The President of the United States would tell the secretary of state how he wanted things done and the secretary of state would have to tell him it couldn't be done the way he wanted because that was illegal?

What's scary about Tillerson's admission? A few things.

1) Trump either doesn't know the law or doesn't care about the law

2) This isn't the first time we've heard of this sort of I-am-the-law, Judge Dredd-like behavior from the President.

The Con genuinely believes he is emperor of the world and above all law.
He knows nothing about anything. He has always hated books.

And ..."above all law".....but......more important..in my opinion, Mueller doesn't think that The Con and his gang are above the law. Mueller is pretty good at catching "crooks" and The Con had better watch out, .......because Mueller is coming to take him and the gang away.. Oh...need to add these additional 2 thoughts:

Mueller is smarter than Trump, and Mueller will get this done

It's not that he believes he's emperor of the world; he just wants to be. All his life he's held on to what his father taught him -- you're either a 'killer' or a 'loser'. Under that, laws are just obstacles to winning. Laws only matter if you can't circumvent them on the way to your goal.

Tillerson didn't see it that way and thus wasn't good for Dirty Donnie's team.

I've met a lot of people who believe that rules only count if you get caught. Never met one with an ego that big, though.

Trump doesn't know the law or doesn't care about the law? The deuce you say, Mr. Cillizza! Did you figure that all by yourself using just your brain pan, or did you finally start hearing the dirty fucking hippies who've been screaming this at you for 22 months?

was he able to destroy small businessperson after small businessperson by refusing to pay them, use organized crime muscle, etc., violate ordinance laws, zoning laws, banking laws and never pay a price for it?

Money laundering for decades, and yet he was never touched. Why?

what George W. was like before they ran for Pres. Why doesn't this kind of RECORD come out BEFORE elections? Always too late. Our media is largely to blame. Good writers write books and columns about recent history, but the masses don't read them or can't afford them or are too busy scratching for a living. I bet there are a lot of politicians banking on all of that, too.

Legal or illegal , then when they do something illegal he uses it to use them to do more illegal things for him and compromises them to do more. . When they refuse he replaces them with someone he thinks will do more and serve only him no matter the legality of it. He corrupts people, or they are of no use to him. That's what corrupt criminals do . Especially ones that'll later say they have no knowledge of the wrongdoings, or deniability for trump.

...may not have been the smartest thing Trump has done lately, and that's saying a lot. That's akin to committing crimes that one's wife is deeply privy to, then divorcing her and telling everyone she's nothing but a skank whore.

Good luck with that.
