Democrats are in a shitty spot. If they take office and immediately start impeachment proceedings, Trump wins in 2020 and the GOP takes the whole Congress again. Guaranteed. An immediate focus on impeachment is ammunition for their campaigns. The best case scenario is the report comes out and Trump's crimes are so outrageous some Republicans bring up impeachment. Without some Republicans on board, the country is almost guaranteed to have another 4 years of Trump. Difficult as it is, we have to play the long game here.

Every day he's in office (and out of prison) just helps to sink the Republican boat.
He's been president for two years. What's two more? Why should we have to run against an incumbent President Pence in 2020?
