Maybe this really is the beginning of the end of trump?

Couldn't come soon enough.

As I stated in another thread this morning: on the day we finally drive trump out of office, I'm advocating a national drunken street party, from coast to coast. So looking forward to it.

or his arrest or that he wandered out of the White House and no one can find him.

I'm with you on the morning terrors - I was right there, too. Every morning I'd get up early enough to watch the Today Show and see what bullshit the asshole had pulled the night before, always with a sense of dread - will it be dropping nukes on North Korea? Will it be invading Australia? Will it be an executive order forcing Muslims to leave the country? Will it be pissing off China/Germany/England/Canada/Borneo/Norway/etc.?

Ugh. I still feel that way most days, but nowhere near as strongly - especially since the election and knowing that in a few weeks the Orange fuck will finally have someone actually offering some checks and balances on him. And that he might soon be in a shit ton of trouble and have all his ludicrous lies utterly destroyed about collusion, about being a good businessman, about being rich, and about being mentally fit, and leaving office in abject humiliation.

Of course, he won't feel humiliated - even if that scenario plays out, he'll never admit to having lied and will go to his grave demanding that he was set up and it was all a conspiracy and that all his so-called crimes were committed by others and not his fault. He'll go to the grave absolutely convinced of his martyrdom.

I had mentioned it to my British colleague a few weeks ago that i now wake up not worried about what i was going to read or hear next on the news (i cut my tv news watching drastically since this hideous man was illegally elected). I think sensible Americans breathed a collective sigh of relief when it was called Dems took back control of the House, and that there would be a check on this out of control (fake) president.
