ATF: There have been 5 attacks on Jehovah's Witnesses in Washington state this year

A fire last week at a Jehovah's Witnesses' house of worship in Washington state was arson -- the fifth attack targeting the religious group this year, federal officials said Sunday.

The blaze early Friday destroyed a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Lacey, a suburb of Olympia, according to Jason Chudy, a spokesperson for the Seattle Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. No one was injured in Friday's blaze and no arrests have been made.

Three other Kingdom Halls in Thurston County were torched, and a fourth Kingdom Hall was hit by gunfire, according to the ATF.

It's not just the Muslims and Jews that are being attacked by radicals.

What information do you have suggesting this is the work of some sort of "radicals" as opposed to some person who has a beef with the JW?

On edit: You can disagree with a religion and make it known, but to physically attack them is another matter.

It could be a JW with a personal axe to grind with the organization.

It could be anything. It could be nothing.

Thankfully, no one has claimed to have absolute knowledge... merely guesses.

They really are an evil bunch. My Mother had an aunt and cousin who converted. They became mean nasty people, who never smiled and were sour. Before I loved them as a kid then I avoided being around them. My mother used to say it was a cruel religion who destroyed her relatives. The cousin left her entire estate to the church not to her beloved nephew she raised and took care of her in her old age. They tricked her into signing a will they wrote. The whole family was pissed.

I personally have a poor view of them.

But don't burn down their buildings, people...

Seriously...

and mental illness. I'll wait and see who's caught before I buy the "attacked by radicals" theory.

It could well be a homeless Schizophrenic; there's approximately 20 zillion of them on the streets of Puget Sound.

If the JW faith disappeared from the Earth it wouldn't make one whit of difference to anyone not in that cult. It would make a positive impact on every child whose parents are raising them in that oppressive sect.

Don't know if it's the case with the targets of these attacks, but JW congregations in my area tend to be predominantly black.
