seems her lawsuit led to the cohen raid which was a huge breakthrough it donnie's legal troubles and in the media coverage of them.

that Donnie's denials of having anything to do with her or really even cohen was part of what helped make the raid happen, given that he effectively denied that there was any attorney-client privilege involved.

Browder has had a real impact on the planet. He's been a heroic campaigner against Russian corruption for over a decade and was the architect of the Magnitsky Act, named to honor his firm's tax attorney after he was imprisoned, tortured over several months and murdered by Putin. It is the single largest thing that has enraged Putin the most.

Putin has tried to have Interpol extradite him to his own death several times, and recently Trump wanted to take him up on a great deal to kidnap and send Mr. Browder to a death that would undoubtedly make Khashoggi's seem very merciful in comparison. Speaking of, Mr. Browder is now pushing for Magnitsky Act sanctions for Khashoggi's death.

Failing him, I actually rather like Meghan Markle, as a marker of slow but enormous change in a really big picture.

but a joint win this year would be perfect. Both are unbelievably important.
If Mueller didn't destroy these criminal cretins, way more people would be killed than were slaughtered at Parkland.
That said they have severely weakened the power of the NRA and its gun-humpers. The Parkland kids did that.

And lack of fear - all for the love of life. They are not just s movement; they are also a moment - a very important moment.
They have given all young people and old folks like me hope.the kids stood up to the NRA and others followed. They just want the right to live.

around the world are obviously an international concern, not just an American one like the Mueller investigation. I think that's one reason for the decision. Also, I don't think Mueller would even want to be chosen, at least not until the investigation is over. Maybe next year, if he's wrapped it up.

But Time has become an international publication and maybe this time they were looking for someone with international impact. The harassment (and worse) of journalists has become a big problem in many places - the accompanying essay was excellent. Under the circumstances I think it was the best choice, although I certainly wouldn't have argued if they'd chosen the Parkland students.

Has Trump rage-tweeted yet to complain that it wasn't him?
