I think the "smocking gun" comment was intentional.

I also think that a good portion of the other ridiculous bullshit in his tweets in intentional.

The more ridiculous the better, because it takes your eyes off the prize. Instead of having a laser-like focus on the real issue, we (myself included) focus on his misspelling. He takes advantage of human nature.

He wrote "smocking" because he's an ignorant semiliterate douche who doesn't know how to spell "smoking." He misspells and mispunctuates stuff all the time. He's just stupid and reactive, not some clever criminal mastermind.

He wouldn’t make mistakes on purpose.

He must be completely delusional and egomaniacal to Tweet on impulse like he does. Anytime I’ve ever sent emails or letters that were going to more than one person I would have someone proofread it.

Wednesday brought a trifecta of Twitter nonsense from the President, with tweets about Al Capone, a 'smocking gun,' and basically obstruction of justice in plain sight.

People think these "mistakes" are because he has a low IQ. Well he probably does, but not that low. He's observed that he gets the emotional reaction he wants when he does certain things. Since that's all he cares about, he spends a lot of time thinking about and testing how to get the right reactions. The people who react are put off guard and that gives him the space he needs to get away with crimes.

If you observe your own emotional reactions and learn to see past them, you become free of the narcissist's manipulations. So congratulations.

I suffered for years with a narcissistic in-law. I always tried to placate this person, and go along with them.

I finally had enough and told that person to fuck off.

That one comment inflicted such narcissistic injury that they no longer speak to me.

Narcissists, when exposed and called out, are ruined.

have called myself a complete nut years ago because I have thought what you are posting before with Trump tweets

Also if not him then who ever may be tweeting for him.
It seems obvious at times that least that more than one person is tweeting ( to me) under his name.
And it’s true he has used that same silly mistake before to deflect just like he rehashes tricks from his business days

See if I was listening to me now I would walk away from me because it sounds off or paranoid, but it’s like my sig of the twilight zone >I don’t know what’s really going on but I think it’s very possible yes a good portion are

Yes, i do think he's as dumb as a box of rocks, but in this case, if he's tweeting from a phone, the phone would try to autocorrect to S-M-O-K-I-N-G. We all know that if one just hits the space bar, it puts the word it thinks you want in there.

So S-M-O-C-K-I-N-G would have to be forced by hitting that spelling on the little bar above.

Either that, or he's so arrogant that he thinks he knows better than the spellcheck which is linked to a dictionary!

He wants to be thought of as the smartest person ever. Plus, he has no sense of humor. Mocking disabled people is NOT humor, it's narcissistic bullying.

I know how often I misspell or mistype something here, and I not only try to do a quick proof of my posts, but I don't have auto-correct although I do get a squiggly red line under something that isn't a real word or is misspelled. Which saves me from all sorts of mistakes but not all of them.

With Trump, the idea that he could be wrong about anything just doesn't enter his consciousness. And making a deliberate goof just would not be imaginable.

Trump doesn't understand -- or care about -- human nature. His only focus is himself. His time frame is the immediate moment in which he is living.

There's a narcissistic bubble around Trump. He lives inside it and has no interest in everyone else who lives outside of it.
