Dangerous delusions

Forty-four former Senators have sent a letter of warning to the present serving Senators of the US Senate. They have cautioned them to put country over Party.

Yet, there are those that refuse to believe anything bad about Donald Trump. After all, they supported him. How could they be wrong?

Or, is there the possibility that they are themselves connected to some illegal contributions and money deals? Since the passage of Citizens United, they have rushed to take money from whomever or wherever they can get it, including Russia.

A Supreme Court, with little foresight, defined money as "free speech". That has been one of the most disastrous decisions in the history of our Supreme Court and they, like many Republican Senators, will delude themselves into believing the problem lies elsewhere. Coupled with the natural greed and dishonesty of politicians, this was like giving them the key to Fort Knox.
