(8,756 posts)Trump looked like an unhinged moron. And Pence, still as a statue, useless and pointless.
Who in Trump land thought that was a good idea?
Sheesh.
True Dough
(17,302 posts)but I don't blame him one bit for remaining silent. The Idiot-in-Chief was happy to do all the arguing. No winning by intervening when Trumpy runs his mouth.

(8,756 posts)Either he jumps in that fracas, and draws the ire of Trump for interrupting him, but trying to help and be a team player. Or he shuts up and lets Trump live or die by this spectacle, knowing he'll be POTUS when Trump burns up in multiple indictments.

(17,302 posts)Unless, of course, Pence also is implicated in Mueller's investigation and he also goes down in infamy. One can hope!

(8,756 posts)I think Pence and a lot of national level Republicans are dirty in Russian rubles. I think they're terrified the public is going to find out just how much money the Russians have given them. Directly and through front groups like the NRA.

(53,342 posts)he seems proud of himself when he says a term that barely fits into the conversation and then repeats it over and over like that makes it any better.

(14,249 posts)what a badass she is and that his best bet is to just keep his mouth shut.
Ever hear that: "Nancy Pelosi has a bearskin rug on the floor in her den. The bear's not dead - it's just too scared to move.""
Pence looks like that bear.

(6,212 posts)she's exactly who we need as Speaker.

(22,567 posts)he did say, "excuse me" to her. When people are passionate about what they are talking about, they interrupt one another--that's just real life.
At least Pelosi would look at Trump when speaking to him while Schumer seemed to be always looking away.
That was a reasonable, although silent, facsimile of Pence there.

(9,663 posts)Here are some vague gems from "Nebulous trumpuloosli var. liehisassoffi":
"...tremendous amounts of wall..."
"...very much under budget..."
"...tremendous chunk of wall..."
"...caught 10...over the last very short period of time..."
As in most N. trumpuloosli a simple question of "how much" fails to capture the specimen. Typical of var. liehisassoffi, observational details are impossible because the shared structural functions of the massive malpighian tubuler/alimentary/anus system with the ovipositor are unknown.

(3,208 posts)but I am very proud of Pelosi and Schumer for pointing out that what the POTUS just spouted off as facts were not actually true.
I did also enjoy the part where tRump was saying something about the American people do not want criminals in their country...they don't want criminals in their WHITE HOUSE either!!!Let's clear that up now.
I do wish the Dems., not here but in later meetings, would bring up the environmental impact this stupid wall will bring. The US is already in bad standing (thanks to tRump) with regards to the condition this planet is in. The Dems. need to use this more in everything (and the media needs to cover them because the people need to know even if they have to be spoon fed!)
