But only by getting rid of the filibuster completely. As others have pointed out, it probably won't pass the House, so there's no point.

Get your talking points organized beforehand: (1) Why didn't the Republicans fund the wall when they were in charge of both houses of Congress and the presidency? (2) It's a stupid waste of money. (3) It's a boondoggle of epic proportions, maybe the biggest ever! (4) The American people, in poll after poll, have demonstrated that they're against this silly idea.

Number (3) will appeal to Trump's self-important grandiosity.

They have not been able to pass a budget because of the tea-party members' tantrums for ten years. Their 'Speaker' has never been able to control their rank and file.
