You have to wonder if Trump thinks a shutdown

would bring a halt to Mueller and the court proceedings. Remember with Don the Con, it's always "about him first."

He likely doesn't care either. To him, it is a tactic to look tough, to make it seem like he is negotiating and that he has leverage.

He will find out, if he goes through with it and everyone starts calling it "Trump's shutdown" and starts complaining, that he did not in fact have leverage.
