I didnt see myself voting for a Presidential primary candidate over 70. I personally believe my reasons are sound but also understand that not all 70+ year olds are the same.
I was just looking up information about one of my all time favorites, John Kerry. I have always loved him and didnt realize he was on the north side of his seventies. He has everything we need right now. I always wished he knew how to dumb it down. He just cant do it. John Kerry is the total package for the situation we find ourselves in. Brilliant. Great understanding of the federal government. Respected around the world. Selfless public servant. Long and distinguished career and isnt in anyones pockets.
I thought I was going to have to accept the label of being ageist. While Im not stereotyping I am making a blanket statement about a group based on age. But Ive now realized that John Kerry is my get out of jail free card. Im currently not aware of anyone I would put over him. We are in dark times and he has the background that uniquely qualifies him over all others, in my opinion.
Thanks Kerry.

Too often older folks start taking themselves too seriously and do not realize that they have to move aside & let younger folks have their turn..
I would love to see a Beto/Amy Klobuchar ticket.. Biden would make a great Sec of State..Elizabeth Warren would be great as Treas Sec..Kamala Harris atty gen..
It would be fantastic to see young kids playing outside at 1600 Pennsylvania..
Not "another Camelot" but just some fun and optimism ...we need it
