What the May No-Confidence vote means...and what it doesn't

The vote that will happen at 6 PM (2 PM Eastern) is a vote by Tory MPs on her role as Party Leader and effectively as Prime Minister. If she loses, Tory MPs will begin a process to select a new leader who will become PM. It does NOT trigger a No Confidence vote in the Government which, if passed, would require new Parliamentary Elections.
