Let's face it. A black kid selling an ounce of crack would end up in jail for perhaps 10 or more years.

Cohen helped Trump steal the 2016 election. STEAL AN ELECTION TO BECOME PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, and he gets three fucking years?

I haven't seen much outrage about this. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks that the American system of justice is rigged, unbalanced and totally fucked up.

That said, if Cohen doesn't cooperate properly going forward, there are probably dozens of similar cases which could be brought, when you consider he worked for Trump for over a decade. Imagine the number of discrete incidences of tax and bank fraud one engages in when working for Trump for a decade. If federal prosecutors get pissed off at him, they could probably rack up charge after charge and end up with a sentence that equates to his natural life.

Who knows? If convicted of treason, he may be forced to wear it for an entire week.

That is an amount that is before street distribution in the chain. One step away from the guy selling pounds. I'm not sure what it would look like if the guy selling the ounce rolled on the guy selling larger amounts. At that point you are getting pretty close to the top of the food chain.

for illegally voting as an ex-felon, while Cohen only gets three years for helping to subvert an entire election.

An ounce of rock or coke is "possession for sale" and is a major felony. It's worth more than a thousand dollars. I get the OP point though, he/she just didn't know that an ounce is a lot of coke.
