So much schadenfreude....
I have to say reading the news, especially following stuff here on DU has been much more joyful for me the past week especially.
I agree with many others here that you can't make this shit up, it writes itself, and I am particularly feeling the glee.
According to wikipedia:
"Justice based schadenfreude is the type of joy a person experiences when someone gets busted for doing something wrong. For example, a successful person who cheats and robs finally gets caught for his wrongdoing, the schadenfreude experienced here would be justice."
Yes, there's that. But yesterdays dog and PWNY show was also like icing on the cake.
The irony is that this definition is so much of how Trump functions, always trying to get the upper hand by making others look smaller or less than him:
"Rivalry schadenfreude is individualistic. It happens when a person goes out of their way to dominate another persons actions in order to see them fail."
