How many goddamn times do we need to rerun this playbook before the fucking myth of trickle down is finally killed off?

What ties all of those years together?
1) GOP-policy initiated and caused recessions
2) HUGE increases to the national debt immediately preceeded...
3) Following idiotic tax cuts and policy initiatives
4) Democratic candidates taking the White House
Only 1 of the 4 is a net positive.

And in 1976 the economy was in disarray because of the massive spike in energy costs, and stupid austerity plans to "Whip Inflation Now".
And to be completely fair, Dems and 41 had to start fixing things in 1988, too. (Well, January 1989)
